Marshall County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public’s Help Locating Suspect for Questioning in Connection in First-Degree Rape Investigation

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. — The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted for questioning in connection with a First-Degree Rape (strong arm) investigation.
According to authorities, the alleged incident occurred in March 2024 but was not reported to law enforcement until May 2024, after the victim became aware that the assault had resulted in a pregnancy. Officials stated that the victim is a family member of the suspect and has since given birth to a child.
Investigators are actively searching for Bartolome Sebastian, who may also be known as Miguel Sebastian or Sebastian Miguel Bartolome. Sebastian is described as a Guatemalan national, approximately 46 years old, with black hair and brown eyes. Authorities believe he may be in the country illegally.
The suspect’s last known address was at a residence on 1st Street within the Albertville city limits, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Officials emphasized that information from the public could be critical in advancing the investigation.
