Freezing Temperatures is Expected for much of Alabama

ALABAMA - The National Weather Service out of Birmingham shows freezing temperatures are expected across much of Alabama over the next few nights.

PHOTO: A cold night is in the forecast tonight into Tuesday morning.

Temperatures are expected to dip into the 20s to low 30s across north and north-central Alabama tonight and Tuesday night. South Alabama will get into the 30s too.

The weather service is forecasting the coldest night to be Tuesday for most of the state.

Lows from Tuesday night into Wednesday morning are expected to fall into the low to mid-20s in north Alabama, the mid-20s to around 30 in central Alabama, and the low 30s in south Alabama.
