Fire at 411 Scrap Yard Monday

CHEROKEE- Just before 9 am Monday units from the McCord's Crossroads fire department were dispatched to a report of a vehicle fire at the 411 Scrap Yard.

Once on the scene, emergency personnel found a vehicle and several mounds of scrap engulfed. Firefighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control.

Thankfully no one was hurt, and the cause of the fire currently remains under investigation. (WEIS)
