CENTRE, Ala. - According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, Cherokee County Investigator Jeremy Stepps charged two individuals, on Monday, in connection with a burglary that occurred in the Cloudland community over this past weekend.
The two suspects were already being held in the Cherokee County Detention Center as a result of deputies charging them with Illegal Possession of Prescription Medication and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance on Friday night.

The suspects, Romello Harper, age 27, and Kailey White, age 22, both of Mentone, were charged, in addition to the drug charges, with third-degree burglary and second-degree theft of property.
Investigator Stepps recovered the stolen property after executing a search warrant of the suspect's vehicle.
