CENTRE - An 18-wheeler rollover accident happened Tuesday morning around 5:30 am, accident occurred on Highway 411, near the old Weiss Lake Egg Plant. The 18-wheeler was hauling a full load of beer.

The driver of the 18-Wheeler was reported as being trapped inside the rig but gave word to first responders that he was okay. The driver was checked out at the scene by Floyd EMS medical personnel.
Emergency personnel was dispatched to the accident with Centre Fire Department, Spring Creek Fire Department, Centre Police Department, Cherokee County Sheriff's Deputies, and Alabama State Troopers responding to the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
