The Office of Downtown Development and Parking Services to Launch September $2 Deck Days

(Coosa Valley News) ROME, GA- The Office of Downtown Development and Parking Services is excited to launch September $2 Deck Days, a pilot program kicking off this weekend on Fridays and Saturdays during the month of September and running through Saturday, October 1.

Visitors downtown will be encouraged to park in the 3rd Ave Deck for $2 all day. This eliminates the need to register at the kiosk or download an app. You can now pay a low cost of $2 and park all day downtown. Payments can be made with cash or a card.

When arriving at the deck, you will pay $2 and receive a dated pass that will allow you in and out of the deck for the date without having to repay the $2 fee. Come shop, eat, have your hair done, and not worry about moving your car or getting a ticket.

If you already have a permit for the 3rd Ave Deck, this initiative does not apply; simply let the team members working the parking deck entrance know when you arrive that you are a permit holder. Please be sure permits are up to date; those with suspended permits will be required to pay the $2 entry fee.
