Spring Garden Football, Second Annual Cherokee Co. Media Day

On Saturday, June 25, during the Second Annual Matt and Todd Show Cherokee County Media Day, first up on the podium were the Spring Garden Panthers.

The Weekly Ledger News had the honor of hearing from Head Coach Jason Howard and three Spring Garden senior football players, John Welch, Jacob Welch, and Jacob Dempsey as they talked about football, this coming season and more.

The players also spoke about how it feels playing on a field that is named after their head coach. Coach Howard also touched on how it feels being given this honor.

The Spring Garden Panthers have come off several consecutive successful years in 2A as Coach Howard continues on a long run as their head coach. This season they go back down to 1A in a new region.
