CENTRE, Ala. — The Cherokee County Board of Education has announced a special called meeting to be held on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Board’s Central Office, located at 200 Armory Road in Centre.


The meeting agenda includes standard business items such as roll call, the adoption of the agenda, and review of current job postings. The board will also consider personnel actions and hear public comments.


The posted agenda is as follows:

  4. Roll Call – Establishment of a Quorum

  5. Proper Procedures for Board Meeting Notification
