OREM, Utah — Charlie Kirk, founder and CEO of Turning Point USA, has died at the age of 31 following a shooting at Utah Valley University, according to multiple confirmed reports.

The fatal incident occurred on September 10, 2025, during the opening stop of Kirk’s American Comeback Tour. While manning his signature “Prove Me Wrong” table on the UVU campus, Kirk was struck in the head or neck by a single gunshot, believed to have been fired from a nearby building. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries.

National leaders quickly responded to the tragedy.

  • President Donald Trump offered prayers for Kirk and his family, calling him “a great guy from top to bottom.”

  • Federal authorities, including the FBI and ATF, remain actively involved in the investigation.

Kirk rose to prominence as a leading conservative voice, founding Turning Point USA at just 18 years old and building it into a major youth-driven political organization. His passing marks the loss of a significant figure in contemporary American political life.

This remains a developing story. Additional updates will be provided as official statements and investigative findings are released.
