Multiple Fire Departments Respond to Sunday Shed Fire in Leesburg

LEESBURG, Ala. — Multiple area fire departments responded to a structure fire Sunday afternoon in the 2800 block of County Road 7 in Leesburg.
The call was dispatched shortly after 12:30 p.m. for a reported shed fire.

Responding agencies included the Leesburg Fire Department, Centre Fire Department, Sand Rock Fire Department, and Tucker’s Chapel Fire Department. Floyd EMS also responded to the scene but was released approximately 15 minutes later after firefighters determined no medical assistance was needed.
Firefighters worked to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby structures. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
The shed was declared a total loss.
The cause of the fire was not immediately available.
