DeKalb County Man Shot Over the Weekend; Pronounced Dead on the Scene

FORT PAYNE — On Sunday, Deputies with the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office and Fyffe Police Department responded to a shooting at a residence on County Road 541, in the Grove Oak community of DeKalb County.

Sammy Lee Frasier, age 61 of Grove Oak, was pronounced dead at the scene.

DeKalb County Sheriff Nick Welden said, “I would like to thank the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office and the Fyffe Police Department for their prompt and professional attention to this case. Please keep all families involved in your prayers.”
