Widespread Power Outage,Tuesday

Strong Thunder Storms Cause Power Outage Tuesday, August 30 afternoon as thunderstorms rolled across the area, trees were knocked down across power lines in the Spring Garden area resulting in a widespread power outage lasting about two hours.

Cherokee Electric Co-op crews were dispatched to the scene to restore electric service as quickly as they could.
