UPDATE: Gadsden Police Clear Both Individuals in Fraud Investigation

GADSDEN, Ala. — The Gadsden Police Department has provided an update regarding a previously reported fraud investigation involving two individuals whose images were released to the public.

According to authorities, after further investigation, the individuals pictured have been identified and cleared of any wrongdoing. Police confirmed that neither individual is connected to the fraud-related incidents under investigation.

Officials expressed appreciation for the community’s assistance, noting that public tips and shared information played a key role in helping investigators quickly resolve this portion of the case.

“We remain thankful for the help and support from the community,” police stated. “This could not have been accomplished without your cooperation.”

While these individuals have been cleared, authorities emphasized that the investigation itself remains ongoing, and all persons involved in any investigation are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
