Two Men Found Shot to Death in Albertville; Third Man Airlifted to Huntsville Hospital

ALBERTVILLE, Ala. — Authorities are investigating after two men were found shot to death early Sunday morning at a home in Albertville, while a third man was airlifted to a Huntsville hospital.
According to Marshall County Coroner Cody Nugent, the Marshall County Coroner’s Office responded at approximately 6 a.m. Sunday to a residence in the 1400 block of Oneonta Cut-Off Road.
Two men inside the home were pronounced dead from gunshot wounds. The victims were identified as 50-year-old Starsky Davis and 27-year-old Hunter Moore.
A third man was also injured and was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital for treatment. His identity and current condition have not been released.
At this time, authorities have not publicly disclosed what may have led to the shooting or whether any suspects have been identified or taken into custody.
The Albertville Police Department is leading the investigation. Marshall County Sheriff Phil Sims confirmed that the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office is assisting with the case.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional details are expected to be released as they become available.
