A storm front that barreled through Cherokee County overnight – and throughout the early morning hours of Tuesday, resulted in a number of trees being down across the area – many requiring local fire departments, and emergency crews, to go into action and remove them from across roadways during heavy rainfall.
Thus far, here in the county, we’ve had no reports of any significant damage occurring, or anyone being injured.
And just across the state line in Cave Spring, GA a neighboring town was affected by the storm front that came through with high winds and heavy rainfall which caused damage to a store in Cave Spring, GA the Cave Spring Market; a tree that was toppled by the wind fell across a pickup truck then struck the building, causing extensive damage.
Luckily, no one was hurt from these strong storms that barreled through overnight.
