Single Vehicle Crash on I59 Southbound in Etowah County

(ALEA)- A single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 1:25 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, has caused a lane closure.  

The southbound lanes of Interstate 59 near the 205-mile marker, in Etowah County are currently blocked and will be for an undetermined amount of time.

Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates accordingly.
