Single Vehicle Accident Claims the Life of a Bryant Man

GADSDEN POST— A single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 2 a.m. Monday, Sept. 5, which claimed the life of a Bryant man.

Cody Ray Busby, 36, was fatally injured when the 1998 Ford Mustang that he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.

Busby was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Dekalb County 155 near Dekalb County 805, approximately seven miles north of Ider, in Dekalb County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
