Rome Woman Arrest for Robbing a Dollar General

FLOYD COUNTY, GA- Jenny Sue Burns, 38 of Rome, GA was arrested this week after reports said she robbed the Dollar General on Alabama Highway in Floyd County.

Police said that Burns kept one hand in her jacket pocket causing the clerk to believe she had a gun during the robbery. Burns also gave the clerk a handwritten note with the words “be quiet and put all the money in a bag or else”.

Police said that while being booked into the Floyd County Jail, Burns was found with methamphetamine “inside her property”.

Burns is charged with robbery, possession of meth, and crossing the guard line with drugs.
