Possession of Forged Instrument Arrest

ETOWAH COUNTY- One individual has been arrested with Possession of a Forged Instrument in Etowah County, according to Sheriff Jonathan Horton.

Skylar Jade Moles Williams, 20 of Gadsden, AL

Skylar Jade Moles Williams, age 20 of Gadsden, is charged with Possession of Forged Instrument 3rd states Investigator Jeff Riggs.

The suspect in the case worked for a cleaning company that was hired to clean the victim's home. While cleaning the victim's house, someone removed a blank check from the checkbook on the nightstand. A check was later found to be cashed at Family Savings Credit Union in the amount of $500.

Members of the Etowah County Sheriff's Office criminal investigations division identified a suspect. The suspect was interviewed, and Investigators obtained a full confession of the incident.

Investigator Riggs obtained a warrant, and the suspect was arrested and placed at the Etowah County Jail.
