Obituary for Corporal Michael Keith Morgan

Michael Keith Morgan, age 49 of Sand Rock, passed away Wednesday, February 16.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, February 18, 2022, at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathon Whisenant officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, burial will follow the service in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sand Rock.

He is survived by his wife, Leanna Kay Morgan; daughters, Courtney (Ryan) Wilson, Bailee (Cameron) Parnell; parents; Jimmy Wayne Morgan and Wanda Ann Morgan, sister; Kristie Morgan Vaughn, grandchildren; Nolan Wilson, Hayden Wilson. Maverick Wilson, Stelah Rose Green, Ezrah Robles, Elliana Parnell, special nieces and nephews; Jordan Kelley, Levi Barkley, Gage Barkley, Isaiah Camp, Paxton Camp.

Pallbearers will include representatives from the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department and Sand Rock Volunteer Fire Department.

Mr. Morgan was a native of Cherokee County and he was of the Baptist faith.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Cancer Research of America.
