More Details: Centre Woman Fatally Injured in Rollover on County Road 22 Sunday Evening

More details have been released on the single-vehicle rollover that happened around 6:20 pm Sunday evening that claimed the life of a woman from Cherokee County.

Norma Dawn Richardson, 42, from Centre, was fatally injured when her 2008 Nissan Altima left the roadway, struck a culvert, and rollover.

We have been told Richardson was not using a seat belt at the time of the accident. She was transported to Atrium/Floyd Medical Center in Centre where she later succumbed to her injuries.

The accident occurred on County Road 22, just past County Road 673 near Godfrey's Island.

Alabama State Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
