The family-friendly event will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. each day at 299 Scott Street in Guntersville and will feature a full lineup of activities for fishing enthusiasts of all ages.
The two-day show will include rod and reel giveaways, angler autographs, a live watch party, casting contests, a fishing derby, live music, and free food for early attendees. Organizers say the Fishing Show aims to celebrate the sport while also showcasing Lake Guntersville as one of the nation’s premier bass fishing destinations. With Major League Fishing professionals expected to be on hand, visitors will have the opportunity to meet anglers, learn tips firsthand, and take part in interactive activities.
Local tourism officials note that events like this provide an economic boost to the city by drawing visitors to the harbor area’s shops, restaurants, and lodging.
