Log Truck Overturns Wednesday

CEDAR BLUFF - A log truck overturned along Alabama Hwy. 9 near County Road 121 close to Salem Church in Cedar Bluff.

The accident happened on Wednesday afternoon. The driver was shaken up but had no major injuries, according to the report.

The logs spilled along the side of the roadway and a cleanup crew went back to the area on Thursday to reload the logs onto another trailer for transportation.

Alabama Hwy. 9 near County Road 121 was closed from 1 pm to a little after 2 pm on Thursday afternoon by the Alabama Department of Transportation.

Alabama State Troopers, Gaylesville Fire Department, and Cedar Bluff Fire Department assisted with traffic.
