LEESBURG, Ala. (TWLN) - The Bible gives us a clear reminder in Philippians 4:6–7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
Prayer is not just a spiritual discipline for our own hearts—it is a testimony to those watching us, especially our children. When life brings challenges, they need to see us pray through them, not panic. When blessings come, they need to see us pause and thank God for His provision. And when we face uncertainty, they need to see us place our trust in God’s direction, even when the path isn’t clear.
Our children are learning every day what it means to live out faith. If they see us carry our worries alone, they will learn to do the same. But if they see us turn to God—whether in trial or in triumph—they will learn where true strength and peace come from.
In a culture filled with confusion and constant pressure, there has never been a more important time to model prayer. We have the opportunity, and the responsibility, to point the next generation to Christ by the way we live out our faith.
Let them see us praying. Let them see us trusting. Let them see us giving thanks. By doing so, we lead them closer to the One who holds their future.
