Ider Woman Arrested on Charges of Rape and Sexual Abuse

FORT PAYNE - Kristen Rice Perry, 30 of Ider, was booked into the DeKalb County Detention Center on Monday, October 17, after an investigation by DeKalb County Criminal Investigations Unit along with Jackson County DHR.

Perry was charged with Rape 2nd and Sexual Abuse 1st. Bond was set at $45,000.00.

DeKalb County Sheriff Nick Welden said of the incident: "I would like to thank our Investigators and Jackson County DHR for all their hard work and sleepless nights to get individuals like this off our streets. Predators of this nature belong behind bars, and we will do everything in our power to put them there."
