Free championship weekend in Scottsboro will feature elite fishing competition, an outdoor expo, family activities and an evening concert

SCOTTSBORO, Ala. — The excitement surrounding the 2026 Ultimate Angler World Championship is getting even bigger, with organizers announcing that one lucky attendee will win a brand-new, fully rigged Bass Tracker Classic XL.
The Mercury-powered boat will be given away during the championship festivities Saturday, Oct. 3, in Scottsboro. The winner must be present at the time of the drawing, which will be held following the championship weigh-ins and before the first act of the evening’s free concert.
The giveaway is being made possible by Sylacauga Marine & ATV, which will be on-site throughout championship weekend. The company will showcase boats from some of the industry’s biggest names, including Ranger, Triton and Nitro.
Financing options will also be available for attendees interested in purchasing a new boat.
The giveaway adds another major attraction to an already packed championship weekend at Lake Guntersville and Goose Pond Colony.
The Ultimate Angler World Championship will take place Oct. 1–3, bringing three days of elite fishing competition, outdoor entertainment and family activities to Scottsboro.
The tournament will feature a field of 200 professional and amateur anglers competing for a $500,000 first-place prize. Competition will conclude Saturday, Oct. 3, with the championship weigh-ins and the crowning of the 2026 Ultimate Angler World Champion.
Running alongside the final two days of competition, the Ultimate Angler Outdoor Expo will be held Friday, Oct. 2, and Saturday, Oct. 3. The expo will be free and open to the public, featuring exhibitor booths, product demonstrations and opportunities to meet professional anglers.
Following Saturday’s weigh-ins and boat giveaway, championship weekend will continue with a free evening concert.
