Floyd County, GA Entrepreneur Charles Craton Buys Rome Athletic Club

Craton Inc takes Health, Fitness, and Business to the next level by acquiring the Rome Athletic Club (RAC) in Rome, Georgia.

Craton Inc has signed a deal to purchase the Rome Athletic Club along with the two Center Street properties in Rome, Georgia. The Rome Athletic Club has already grown to be the largest fitness center in Northwest Georgia in recent years and more improvements are already scheduled to be implemented once the Craton family takes full ownership.

Vice President of Craton Promotions, Thomas Craton, will take on leadership responsibilities of the Rome Athletic Club once the transition is complete. Craton has been an avid student of health and fitness, dating all the way back to his football days at Darlington.

“Our goal is to continue to improve and upgrade the facility previously led by our friends Joey Baldwin and his wife Cristy, who will continue to be active members of the club. The popular Rome Athletic Club has become a well-known institution during its 16 years in Rome Georgia and my goal is to continue and improve its culture of success in the health and fitness industry,” said Thomas Craton.
