Etowah County Man Has Been Arrested, Attempted Rape First, Sex Abuse of a Child Less than 12

Etowah County, AL- A Gadsden man has been arrested on the charges of Attempted Rape first, and Sex Abuse of a Child Less than 12, according to Sheriff Jonathon Horton.

Christopher Justin Baker, age 31, of Gadsden has been charged with the above charges, Inv. Brandi Fuller said. Baker's victim was 11 years old at the time of the abuse. Baker is being held on a $100,000 bond with the conditions of No unsupervised contact with anyone under 18 years old, to be admitted to a substance abuse treatment facility, and be supervised by Etowah County Community Corrections.
