Eleven-Month-Old Dies in Accident Involving Tractor in Rockmart

ROCKMART, GA- An eleven-month-old was killed in an accident involving a tractor on private property in Rockmart earlier this week; according to the Rome-News Tribune first responders were called to the scene shortly after 6 pm Tuesday, August 30.

It remains unclear just what led to the child receiving fatal injuries – however, he was pronounced dead on the scene.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating that incident since it involved a fatality, and several local agencies responded to the scene – including Rockmart Fire and Rescue, Rockmart Police, AdventHealth Redmond EMS, Polk County Police – and Polk County Fire and Rescue.
