Customers Find Gas Pump Filled with Diesel, Not Unleaded Gasoline at Murphy USA in GA

The Murphy USA Gas Station at Walmart in LaFayette, GA mixed up its fuels during a tanker refill last Thursday, causing some vehicle owners to fill up with diesel instead of unleaded gas.

The company released the following statement:

“Murphy USA has become aware that diesel fuel was mistakenly delivered and placed into an underground storage tank at the Murphy USA location on Highway 27 in LaFayette… and that several customers unknowingly filled their unleaded fuel vehicles with diesel fuel.
