Country Star Hannah Dasher to Headline Free Concert as Ultimate Angler World Championship Takes Over Scottsboro

Lake Guntersville will welcome 200 anglers to Scottsboro for seven days of championship bass fishing, culminating at Goose Pond Colony with a free Outdoor Expo featuring live country music, food trucks, influencers, family activities and a free Saturday night concert.

SCOTTSBORO, Ala. — A major week of championship bass fishing on Lake Guntersville will end with a full day of free family entertainment and live country music as the Ultimate Angler World Championship brings its Outdoor Expo and concert finale to Goose Pond Colony Resort in Scottsboro.
Country music artist and social media personality Hannah Dasher will headline the free concert Saturday, Oct. 3, following the championship finale. The day's entertainment will also include Micah McCreary and Front Porch Pickers, adding even more live country music to the celebration.
The Ultimate Angler World Championship, presented by Unified Pros, is scheduled for Sept. 27 through Oct. 3 and will bring 200 professional and amateur anglers from across the country to Lake Guntersville to compete for a $500,000 first-place prize.
Free Outdoor Expo and Concert
The Ultimate Angler Outdoor Expo will be held during the tournament's final two days, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 2-3, with Saturday's expo running from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Admission to the expo and concert is free.
Families and outdoor enthusiasts will find much more than fishing at Goose Pond Colony. The expo is expected to feature exhibitor booths, product demonstrations, meet-and-greets with professional anglers, conservation exhibits and family activities.
A variety of influencers and cast members from Front Porch Pickin' are also expected to have booths set up during the event, giving fans an opportunity to meet some of the personalities participating in the weekend.
Visitors are encouraged to come hungry, as numerous food trucks are expected to be on-site throughout the day.
Following the expo and championship activities, attention will turn to the stage for an evening of country music featuring Dasher, McCreary and Front Porch Pickers.
Hannah Dasher to Headline
A Georgia native now based in Nashville, Dasher has developed a devoted following through her traditional country sound, larger-than-life personality and high-energy performances.
She has been recognized as a Fender Next artist and a CMT Next Women of Country honoree and has made regular appearances at the Grand Ole Opry.
Beyond the stage, Dasher has become a social media sensation with more than 1.5 million TikTok followers. She is also known for her southern cooking series, "Stand By Your Pan," filmed from her retro Nashville home known as "Honkytonk Graceland."
Her live performances combine traditional and nostalgic country influences with rock-and-roll grit, providing what organizers hope will be a memorable conclusion to championship week in Scottsboro.
Celebrating Fishing, Fans and the Outdoors
Organizers say the Ultimate Angler World Championship was created not only to bring some of the country's best anglers together but also to create an experience the entire community can enjoy.
"The Ultimate Angler was created to bring together the best anglers in sport while creating an experience the entire community can enjoy," Lori Waller, vice president for the Ultimate Angler World Championship, said.
"Whether you're a serious angler, an outdoor enthusiast, or simply looking for a great family event, there will be something for everyone," Waller added. "From the competition on the water to the expo and free concert, this week is about celebrating the outdoor lifestyle and showcasing everything our region has to offer."
Organizers expect anglers, fans, families and outdoor enthusiasts from across the country to travel to Scottsboro during championship week, providing an economic boost for area restaurants, hotels, businesses and tourism partners.
The event will also provide an opportunity to showcase Lake Guntersville, Scottsboro and Jackson County as premier destinations for bass fishing and outdoor recreation.
Make a Day of It at Goose Pond Colony
With the Outdoor Expo, professional anglers, exhibitors, influencers, family activities, food trucks and live entertainment all coming together, organizers are encouraging the public to bring family and friends and spend the day at Goose Pond Colony.
The festivities will culminate Saturday evening with an incredible night of country music as the community wraps up a major week celebrating bass fishing, the anglers who compete, their fans and the outdoor community.
Vendor registration remains open for businesses and organizations involved in fishing, boating, hunting, outdoor recreation, tourism and lifestyle industries.
Additional details, including the complete concert schedule, event lineup and participating exhibitors, are expected to be announced in the coming months.
