Cookout to Honor First Responders in Cherokee County Set for Thursday, August 21

LEESBURG, Ala. - Representative Ginny Shaver and the Alabama Forestry Association invite all first responders to a special appreciation cookout on Thursday, August 21, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.


The event will be held at the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Training Center, located at 1025 Bristow Gap Road in Leesburg.


This gathering is a way to thank the men and women who serve and protect our community each day. First responders are encouraged to stop by, enjoy a meal, and know how much their dedication is appreciated.
