City of Centre Hiring Seasonal Help for Street and Sanitation Department

CENTRE, Ala. — The City of Centre is now accepting applications for a part-time seasonal position with its Street and Sanitation Department as the city prepares for the busy spring and summer months.

The position will run from April through September 2026 and will assist with day-to-day operations that help keep the community clean and maintained.

To be eligible, applicants must be at least 21 years old, have a valid Alabama driver’s license, and be able to pass a background check.

City officials say this is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and want to be a part of keeping the City of Centre looking its best.

Anyone interested in the position is encouraged to apply at Centre City Hall, located at 635 Armory Road, before March 27, 2026.
