Cherokee County Health and Rehab to Host Community Blood Drive on January 12

CENTRE, Ala. — Cherokee County Health and Rehab (CCHRC) will host a community blood drive on Monday, January 12, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at its facility located at 877 Cedar Bluff Road in Centre.
The blood drive will be conducted through a Blood Assurance mobile unit and is open to eligible community donors. Organizers are encouraging residents to donate whole blood, platelets, or plasma to help meet ongoing needs for patients across the region.


Appointments may be scheduled online through Blood Assurance, and potential donors are encouraged to review eligibility requirements in advance. Those unsure of their eligibility are advised to contact their local donor center before arriving.
