Cherokee Co. Career and Tech Center Hosting Art Contest and Gallery for Mental Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness month and Cherokee County Career and Tech Center will be hosting a Art Contest and Art Gallery to showcase mental health themed art from students in Cherokee County in K - 12th grade.

The event will be May 12 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. and is open to the community.

This event is in hopes to help raise awareness and decrease the stigma around mental health.

You are invited to come out and help in fighting the stigma! There will be refreshments, the art gallery, a family resources area, and a creative station.
