SAND ROCK, Ala. - A single-vehicle accident occurred during the early morning hours on Monday.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) the driver of the 2002 Chevrolet lost control of their vehicle around 4:30 a.m. The vehicle left the roadway on County Road 43, in Sand Rock in Cherokee County striking a utility pole.
The driver, identified as a resident of DeKalb County, was only shaken up.
No one else was involved in the accident, fortunately.
The wreck remains under investigation by Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
