Cherokee County Sheriff's Investigators Make Arrest on Child Pornography Case

GAYLESVILLE, Ala. - According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, Sheriff's Investigators received a tip from ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) regarding child pornography and executed a search warrant at a Gaylesville residence on Tuesday.

During the investigation, it was discovered that Justin Glenn Freeman, age 28, of Gaylesville, was in possession of 130 counts of Possession of Child Pornography along with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia.


The suspect was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon and transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center.
