Author Larry Leslie to Hold Two Book Signing Events in Cherokee County for New Book Release



Centre, AL - Larry Leslie, a local talented author and world traveler has completed his new book, "Tears of the American Warriors": a gripping tale of romance and adventure.



Leslie shares, "Tears of the American Warriors will touch your heart and soul, and change your life. It is about a young Scottish couple who is caught up in the great potato famine of 1850. They have to flee Scotland due to an accidental murder. When they arrive in America, they buy a farm and start a family, only to be dragged into the American Civil War. After the war, they journey the dangerous Oregon Trail to Wyoming, where they build a cattle empire.

Local author Larry Leslie will be holding two book signing events in Cherokee County in the coming days.


Tuesday, May 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at CVS Pharmacy, 101 East Chesnut Bypass in Centre and Friday, May 13 at the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on the campus of Gadsden State Cherokee, 101 Cedar Bluff Road in Centre.


Leslie, a resident of Cherokee County, is the author of seven books, including his newest release “Tears of the American Warriors” and “Tears of African Sons”. Which will be on hand and available for purchase during both events and for the first time Leslie will be hosting an exhibit of his photography.


The large display will feature stunning landscape photos from around the world and these 16×20 prints will be available for purchase.
