• Crafting at the Museum, Nature’s Way will begin October 12 at 2:00 pm and will be held thereafter at the same time every second Wednesday of each month. There will be a $20.00 fee for craft project supplies. The project of the month will be posted under "Events", on the Museum website at, www.museumatcentrealabama.com.


• Cedar Bluff School Fall Festival Saturday, October 15 from 2 pm - 7 pm. Located at 3655 Old Hwy. 9, Cedar Bluff, AL 35959. Food - Bingo - Games - Cruise In - Cornhole - and More Activity Schedule: Cornhole & Cruise-In at 2 pm, Food from 3 pm to 6:30 pm, Vendors from 2 pm - 7 pm, Inflatables & Games from 3 pm to 7 pm, Bingo from 4 pm - 7 pm, Harvest King & Queen Pageant at 6:30 pm. ​ • Colorfest 2022 on Saturday, October 15 from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday, October 16 from 10 am to 4 pm. Located at Moon Lake Village Mentone, AL. Arts and Crafts, Live Music, Food and More.


• The City of Attalla Heritage Day is scheduled for Saturday, October 15, from 9 am to 5 pm with free admission to Historic Downtown Attalla. This is a rain-or-shine event. There will be rides for all ages, toxic drop, rock wall, train ride, and inflatables. An open car show is set for 9 am until 3 pm with a $20 entry fee; registration is from 8 am until 12 pm; contact Frankie Riddlespur at 256-543-2080. Two stages of live music will feature performances by Curley Taylor & Zydeco Trouble, II Da Maxx, Jeremy Noble, Finley River Boys, and Kings of Swing. • Southside Police and Fire Department Trunk-or-Treat is scheduled for Thursday, October 20 from 4:30 pm to 8 pm. Wear your favorite Halloween costume. Located at City Hall, 2255 Highway 77 in Southside. The free event will feature candy, treats, food trucks, and activities for kids. “Trunk or Treat” is a safe way for the children in the community to trick or treat. If you would like to donate candy, make a donation or request more information, don’t hesitate to contact Captain Jay Freeman at Jayfreeman@cityofsouthside.com.


• Halloween Hayride sponsored by Friends of Sloppy Floyd Park is set for October 22, 23, 29, and 30, from 12 pm to 5 pm ET at James H. “Sloppy” Floyd State Park in Summerville, Georgia. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children 5 to 12 years old, and free for children age 4 and under. $5 park pass is required.


• Summerville Main Street and Summerville Trion Optimist Club will host the Candy Walk on Saturday, October 29 on the East Washington Street Scape. Events will include the Pumpkin Palooza with a costume contest, vendors, and pumpkin derby from 10am-2pm ET, and the Candy Walk is from 11am to 1pm ET.


• Lookout Mountain Cowboy Church Second Annual Trailer Treat Gathering is scheduled for Saturday, October 29 from 6 pm - 8 pm. Located at 2974 County Road 22, Collinsville, Alabama 35961. Will have Horse & Pony Rides - Soup & Cornbread - Hot Dogs - Candy for the kids. For more information or for questions can call 256-523-6462.


• Trunk or Treat Saturday, October 29, at 12pm at Pine View Crossing Apartments across from Jack’s Restaurant in Centre (1052 Bay Springs Road). There will be lots of candy, games, a hayride, and face painting.

​ • Rome River Jam 22 presented by Blue Otter Polarized will be Friday, October 28, and Saturday, October 29 at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds in Rome, GA. Get your tickets at https://tickets-center.com/.../Rome-River-Jam-tickets/

​ • City of Centre 1st Annual Uptown Police and Fire Department Community Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 29 from 5 pm to 7 pm. Located on West Main Street in Centre. There will be inflatables, touch a truck, and free candy. All churches, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to join. For more information call 256-619-0372.

• Trunk or Treat will be held on Saturday, October 29 from 5pm to 7pm at Faith Baptist Church of Gaylesville, located at 7175 AL Highway 75 in Gaylesville. Join us for candy, inflatables, and good family fun!

• Pine Grove Baptist Church Fall Festival/Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 30 from 5pm to 7pm. It will feature decorated cars filled with candy, cornhole, hot dogs, and inflatables! We will also have a special treat on hand with The Coffee Man selling delicious drinks from their mobile coffee bus! Bring the whole family and have a great time!

• The City of Piedmont’s Annual Downtown Trick or Treat event is Monday, October 31, from 4pm to 6pm.

• First Baptist Church of Cedartown’s Trunk or Treat is set for Monday, October 31 at 5pm ET in the church parking lot. We need candy for this event. If you would like to help, please bring bags of individually wrapped candy to the Church Office by October 29. If you are interested in decorating a vehicle, call the church office & sign up!

• East Centre Baptist Church Trunk or Treat with treats, candy, and inflatables will be held Monday, October 31 from 5pm to 7pm. Located at 1220 East Main Street in Centre. For more info, call 256-927-5392.

• 17th Annual Trunk-or-Treat in the Park hosted by the Town of Cedar Bluff will be held Monday, October 31 from 5pm to 9pm in the Cedar Bluff Town Park. There will be an inflatable slide and haunted hayrides. 20th Century Club will have concessions available; all proceeds will go toward the expense of this event.

• Fall Festival held on Saturday, November 5, from 9am to 3pm ET in historic downtown Cedartown, Georgia. The Sanctioned Shriners Parade will begin at 10am ET and from 11am to 2pm ET will be the Dixie Ramblers. Free admission, art, craft, and food vendors. The event is sponsored by the Downtown Cedartown Association.
