Collinsville Man Arrested on Drug Trafficking and Weapons Charges

LEESBURG - According to docket records from the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department, A Collinsville man was arrested late Sunday night on drug trafficking and weapons charges.

Daniel Gouse, 44 of Collinsville was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center at around 11:28 pm Sunday night.

Gouse was arrested after a traffic stop by Leesburg Police and charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess a Firearm.

There were no further details immediately available about Gouse’s arrest.
