Taniesa L. Sullivan | The Weekly Ledger News CENTRE - During the Centre City Council meeting Tuesday, the Council set December 1 as the date of this year’s Christmas Parade. The line will begin at 5 pm and the parade will begin rolling at 6 pm.
The Council approved the purchase of two new vehicles, a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe for the Police Department in the amount of $49,759 which includes the police equipment, and a 2023 Ford F150 Super Crew in the amount of $39,220 for the Building Inspector.
The Department heads gave the council their quarterly reports, and the council approved the minutes of the previous meeting and accounts payable.
The next Centre City Council meeting will be on October 25 in the Council Chambers at City Hall at 5 pm. (WEIS)
