Car Fire on Industrial Blvd in Leesburg, Saturday Afternoon

LEESBURG, Ala. - Emergency personnel was dispatched to a car fire on Industrial Blvd near the intersection of US 411 South in Leesburg.

Once Leesburg Police and Leesburg Fire Department arrived, they saw a car in the left turn lane on fire. The Leesburg Fire Department was able to extinguish the car fire quickly.

According to reports, the fire started at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The fire was in the engine compartment of the car, and all of the occupants were out of the vehicle.

There were no injuries reported, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
